Can’t find the Ball ?

Can’t find the Ball ?

A story is going around that a certain member was unable to find his ball on the Lenche’s course on Wednesday last, only to find that he had achieved the golfers dream of getting a HOLE IN ONE when the ball was found.

It’s a wonderful achievement and we offer our warm hole in one

congratulations to Tony King whose wonderful achievement was witnessed by Peter Merris.

Did you see it go in Peter or was it at the 7th Hole ?

Peter J Merris December 6, 2014 at 1:39 pm

John. It was on the 7th hole that Tony had his ace. I can confirm the ball landed on the green and was able to advise him that his ball was in the hole. He had a big smile on his face for the next two holes.

I should think he did Peter I would still be smiling now!

John – The ball was at no time lost; Peter & I walked to the green together and Peter remarked “I think the ball’s in the hole”. It was!
A Lucky outcome from a descent shot

Tony any reference to a ” lost ball ” was a light hearted introduction to the fact that you had managed to achieve what many of us have hoped and dreamed of doing for many a year. Wish I had been there to see.
