Members and Friends got together at Comberton Golf Club to enjoy warm sunny conditions whilst playing a Texas Scramble over eighteen holes.
A Friendly format keeping all players in the game until the last hole saw some good scoring. The Winning Team of Keith Wagstaff and Peter Merris captained by John Icke played a very creditable round of golf finishing just one over scratch. Mike Gage, John Pritchard and Dean Wagstaff came a close second.
Dean and Keith Wagstaff covered themselves in glory by winning the longest Drive and Nearest the Pin competitions.
A great day thanks to the work and organisation of Peter Ross our Lodge Charity Steward. A great success which makes us all look forward to the upcoming race night he has organised at Swan Lane in November.
